The Genoa-Kingston United Way is pleased to partner with the following agencies for the betterment of the Genoa and Kingston communities.

Adventure Works -- The mission of Adventure Works is to assist youth in overcoming challenges and becoming healthy adults through adventure-based counseling.

Boy Scouts of America, Three Fires Council -- The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C) -- The 4-C mission is to promote children’s well-being by advocating
for quality, affordable child care. We support parents and those providing child care by offering information, education, resources and services.

DeKalb County Community Gardens -- The DeKalb County Community Gardens (DCCG) is an innovative approach to end hunger and food insecurity in DeKalb County, by providing access to fresh, local, sustainably-grown organic vegetables for all who may
be in need.

DeKalb County Youth Service Bureau -- The DeKalb County Youth Service Bureau, Inc. (YSB) assists youth
as they build healthy lives and relationships with their families, friends, and community.

Family Service Agency of DeKalb County -- Family Service exists to strenghten people and communities through healing, mentoring, and social engagement.

Genoa-Kingston Food Pantry -- The mission of the
GKMA Food Pantry & Emergency Fund is to respond to immediate and emergency needs among the residents
of the Genoa-Kingston School District.

Genoa Preschool --The mission of the Genoa Preschool
is to provide positive experiences in physical activity, creative play, listening, music, stories, art, and academics.

Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois -- Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who then make the world a better place.

The Gracie Center -- To support adults with developmental disabilities in DeKalb County to achieve a greater sense of independence and quality of life.

Hope Haven of DeKalb County -- Hope Haven’s mission
is to provide shelter, meals, and life skills programs for homeless individuals and families while preparing them for re-housing.

Kishwaukee Valley Heritage Society -- To preserve historical materials and bring together those people interested in history, especially in the history of our communities, Genoa, Kingston and surrounding rural areas, for the creation a better understanding of our communities and appreciation of our American heritage.

Oaken Acres Wildlife Center -- Oaken Acres Wildlife Center is a NFP organization licensed to rehabilitate native Illinois wildlife. We advocate for wildlife through community education and conservation.

Opportunity House -- To help people with disabilities work, live in homes of their choice and enjoy community life.

RAMP, Inc. -- RAMP is a non-profit, non-residential Center for Independent Living (CIL) that emulates the Independent Living Philosophy with a mission that promotes an accessible society that allows and expects full participation by people with disabilities.

Safe Passage -- It is the mission of Safe Passage to reduce or prevent domestic violence and sexual assault in DeKalb County.

Voluntary Action Center -- The Mission of Voluntary Action Center is committed to providing high quality services that address the basic transportation and nutrition needs of its community.
